The feasts of Epiphany and of the Baptism of the Lord bring the

Christmas season to an end. To mark the change of season,

here’s a litany called “Now the Work of Christmas Begins”

composed by Howard Thurman, an African-American theologian,

educator, and civil rights leader.

"When the song of the angels is stilled,
when the star in the sky is gone,
when the kings and princes are home,
when the shepherds are back with their flocks,
the work of Christmas begins:
to find the lost,
to heal the broken,
to feed the hungry,
to release the prisoner,
to rebuild the nations,
to bring peace among brothers,
to make music in the heart."     (performed by a cappella group, Good Company.....

Never underestimate the power of music!!!....I have to sing, I have to play. The music, it’s not just in me, it is me. When life gets me down, I play my guitar. ... I must follow my heart. You know that feeling, like there’s a song in the air and it’s playing just for you. I hope you like it.
